Canadian Space Summit 2009

The Canadian Space Summit is an annual event hosted by the Canadian Space Society. The Summit is explicitly dedicated to helping the Canadian space industry and related special interest groups develop a wider understanding of the diverse space exploration and development projects that are being conducted across the country and to foster collaborative connections amongst the many companies and organizations involved.

This year’s Summit will host several hundred professionals and space enthusiasts at the RMC Campus in Kingston. The goal of the Summit is to engage industry, decision-makers and the public in an open and positive discussion of the future of space exploration and development through lectures by invited speakers, panel sessions and networking opportunities.

Fittingly, the theme for this year's Summit is Multi-Use missions: Opportunities for collaboration on space technologies. Summit 2009 will showcase, in its traditional six sessions, that there is room for collaboration between many organizations: amoung government agencies, between private industry and government sectors, as well as the military/civil use combinations.
